The Barefoot Cottage Homes is a small coastal community located one mile from Wells’ many beaches and a little over 3 miles from downtown Ogunquit. As the newest member of the Seal Harbor Community family, these residential condominiums offer a comfortable option for year round coastal living. Sitting on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean (shown below) with 5 plus acres of property, the community is made up of single cottage and duplex homes organized into small villages, each having its own architectural significance.

Barefoot Cottage Homes is beautified by gardens, pools, walls, gates, seats, gazebos and follies, fundamental to the spirit and character of the ensemble, but thoughtfully placed where people will use them. New Villages

It’s been a busy winter and spring 2012 season at Barefoot Cottage Homes. Our newest model is available to be viewed in person or online! We have now conveyed 32 units of the 48 originally approved homes for construction. Our first 4 villages have been fully constructed and sold leaving the final two villages with homes available. As of this writing (mid-May) we have 3 first floor units and 4 second floor units for early summer delivery.
Villages are comprised of single and duplex units, some with garages. All units have two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen with appliances installed and a large sun room. All of our homes offer year round access and use with no single stay more than 28 days.
Our Barefoot Village, Sandal Village and Sea Mist Village are completely sold out. Available villages are:
- Sea Foam Village – a grouping of 10 duplex units with garages with gray siding and Bedford blue shutters to create a calming venue for when you want to relax and smell the salt sea air.
- Sunrise Village – a quaint grouping of 8 duplex units with garages with Flint gray siding and black shutters that will provide you comfortable living.
- Ocean Edge Village – the largest village with 12 duplex units with garages with tan siding and Moss Green shutters nestled in the rear of the property.
