We have enjoyed a wonderful start to our newest offerings at Barefoot! First I want to thank all of those that have visited our newest property in the past 18 months. I hope you enjoyed your time with us and you saw something you liked.

I also want to thank the first 24 unit owners that have purchased their new homes. We welcome you into our community and hope you get pleasure from it for years to come.

Update on Construction

For those that have visited but haven’t purchased to date, let me update you on where we are right now. We have transitioned to “stick” construction on the property meaning we’re building our units on site. As the economy has taken its toll on our Modular Manufacturing partners, my staff and advisors suggested we return to our roots and start delivering homes constructed in Maine.

Currently we have 8 units under construction in different levels of completion. Our offerings now include the use of “ZIP” system plywood and increased insulation values to meet the newest Maine energy code.

Come in and visit with Lenn and have a tour of our property. My staff and I are proud to be constructing your future home at Barefoot Cottage Homes. We hope you will entrust Seal Harbor, LLC when you want to build your home in Maine.

Summer is upon us and we have had a great sales run! We sold 8 new units in July with our “Christmas in July” promotion and have extended the program through August.  Get the details and act now before your ideal unit is taken! We are now offering new options for the units that add just that sense of casual style.

Our amenities package is coming along. Our expectation is we will be filling our pool the first week of August.

Welcome to Sea Mist Village

It’s the 4th of July and summer is in full swing! If you love Wells, Maine, you should stop by and see the progress we’ve made at our newest community! We are still holding open houses, have a model for you to view and you can see our villages taking shape.

Sales of our units are going really well with 5 units selling just last weekend alone! I guess there will be 5 happy owners enjoying their free time in this beautiful seaside community year round!

You may not be getting your bathing suit ready just yet, but it won’t be long before the ocean breezes are drawing us closer to the beautiful Atlantic shore off the coast of Maine. Despite the snowiest winter in recent history, we aren’t stopping the development of your new ocean getaway because we want you to be able to enjoy a full season of sun and fun in Wells.

We have been busy placing foundations for the upcoming season and units are now being delivered weekly for those pre-sold last fall.

Snow be Damned! Only 4 months until the start of the summer season!

It’s the end of September and we’re still rocking in Wells. We couldn’t have had better weather this summer and that certainly influenced our ability to show off our new community to more and more people.

Of the first 12 units we offered, they are all sold except the model which is arriving on September 30th. We also have a waiting list for units coming in Phase 2 of the development.

For those of you who want to get a better view of the property or are still thinking about owning in Barefoot Cottage Homes, come to our “grand open house” of our new model on Saturday, October 9th starting at 11 a.m. This event will include tours and a “meet your neighbor” barbeque on the property. We’ve done these before at Beach Dreams and they have always been a success.

Barefoot Cottage Homes construction is well underway as planned. Our initial offerings of 6 duplex units and 2 single units in the Sandal Village have sold out! Barefoot Village has been transformed into a quaint four unit village with close proximity to the amenities and wonderful views of the ocean and marsh. These four units are available for sale starting at $129,900 for the first floor units and $134,900 for the second floor units. Check out the site plan to see where you could be spending your days!
