9 Beaches is our newest addition to our coastal development communities and will be available in the fall of 2012. Aptly named for its extensive frontage on the Webhannet River, this 18 acre development will include single and duplex homes varying in size to meet your needs. The property will include a pool and changing area and will be limited to 18 new homes. Reservations and development of your custom design with our design team are now being accepted for 2013 deliveries. Our newest phase of the development is under review and approval. We have enjoyed a wonderful start to our newest offerings at Barefoot! First I want to thank all of those that have visited our newest property in the past 18 months. I hope you enjoyed your time with us and you saw something you liked.

Update on Construction

For those that have visited but haven’t purchased to date, let me update you on where we are right now. We have transitioned to “stick” construction on the property meaning we’re building our units on site. As the economy has taken its toll on our Modular Manufacturing partners, my staff and advisors suggested we return to our roots and start delivering homes constructed in Maine.

Currently we have 8 units under construction in different levels of completion. Our offerings now include the use of “ZIP” system plywood and increased insulation values to meet the newest Maine energy code.

It’s the 4th of July and summer is in full swing! If you love Wells, Maine, you should stop by and see the progress we’ve made at our newest community! We are still holding open houses, have a model for you to view and you can see our villages taking shape.

Sales of our units are going really well with 5 units selling just last weekend alone! I guess there will be 5 happy owners enjoying their free time in this beautiful seaside community year round!

Snow be Damned! Only 4 months until the start of the summer season!

It’s the end of September and we’re still rocking in Wells. We couldn’t have had better weather this summer and that certainly influenced our ability to show off our new community to more and more people.

Of the first 12 units we offered, they are all sold except the model which is arriving on September 30th. We also have a waiting list for units coming in Phase 2 of the development.

For those of you who want to get a better view of the property or are still thinking about owning in Barefoot Cottage Homes, come to our “grand open house” of our new model on Saturday, October 9th starting at 11 a.m. This event will include tours and a “meet your neighbor” barbeque on the property. We’ve done these before at Beach Dreams and they have always been a success.
